Ringo Nominated Publisher Lifeline Comics’ Opens Submissions for Asexual Comic Book Anthology

Following their Ringo Nominated anthology, Hairology, and their Kickstarter hit Transphoria, the Publishers of Lifeline Comics, Kat Calamia and Phil Falco, teams up with Jeremy Whitley (Unstoppable Wasp) to open submissions for their newest Asexual comic book anthology.

It’s Lifeline Comics' mission statement to tell unique and diverse stories and to provide a vehicle for creators of all experience levels (from first-time creators to seasoned veterans) to tell their stories.

Writers: your story could be written in any genre. However, (1.) Asexual spectrum identity must be a factor in the plot, and/or (2.) your protagonist should be under the Ace umbrella. Apart from that - have fun, think outside the box, and use your page limit wisely.

Artists should submit their portfolio with sequentials that best represent the type of art they want to contribute to the anthology. Artists and writers can submit as a team, but if you’d rather submit separately, if chosen, you’ll be teamed up by the editors.

Compensation for accepted work:

Writer: $30 Per Page
Artist: $80 Per Page
Colorist: $40 Per Page

PLUS 1 Comp Copy with an opportunity to buy more copies at wholesale for re-sale purposes.

Deadline:

November 24th, 2024 - Submissions Close (Scripts and Samples Due)
January 6th, 2024 - Emails Sent If You Made It into the Anthology
May 2025 - Completed Comics Must Be Turned In
June 2025 - Kickstarter Launch
