Comicpalooza Day 1 Recap

The biggest convention in Houston, Texas is in full swing as Comicpalooza’s doors are open May 24 - 26. I had the opportunity check out a few of the indie comic book creators—and there’s definitely a comic book for everyone at this convention.

Passes are still available as of this post, so be sure to stop by and check out a few of the creators showcasing their work. You might just find your next favorite title.

@50fiftycomix - Booth 1327, showcasing comics from a range of titles, with their premiere title being, “The Natura (issues 1 - 3 available now).”

@jaynespinoza - Booth 3033, showcasing horror/fantasy comic books such as “Hallowed North.”

@citizenmilton - Booth 2915, showcasing sci-fi titles such as “Orion Wells: Warriors of the Worlds.”

@etancomics - Booth 3200, showcasing titles that celebrate African heritage such as “Long Distance.”

@sigma_comics - Booth 2339, showcasing their title, “Calico.” Proceeds from purchasing this comic book go towards stopping animal abuse.
